I was born and raised in Algona and graduated from Bishop Garrigan High School. I earned an associate of arts degree from Des Moines Area Community College.
I'm beginning my 25th year at West Bank, having started as a teller and worked my way up in the organization. I am also a graduate of the 2005-06 Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute, which was a terrific experience.
I enjoy the interaction with the customers. They all have different situations and want me to partner with them to find the best solutions. Being able to help the customer find that solution is what gives me the greatest satisfaction.
I enjoy participating in the development and planning of the city of West Des Moines. Currently, I'm a member of the West Des Moines Water Works Board of Trustees and serve on the city of West Des Moines Citizens' Capital Improvement Program Committee. I am also the immediate past president of the board of the West Des Moines Development Corp. and recently served on the board of the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce.

Eric L. Lothe of Newton has been named president and chief executive of Health Enterprises of Iowa. He will start June 5. Lothe is currently president and chief executive of Skiff Medical Center in Newton, a position he has held since 1996.
Rod Clarkson has been named Des Moines Area Association of Realtors Realtor/salesperson of 2006. Clarkson has been in real estate more than 29 years and has sold more than 2,000 homes. He is the sales manager for the Coldwell Banker Mid-America Group, Realtors Ankeny office.
Claudia Morales has joined GMAC Mortgage as a senior loan officer. She has more than eight years of mortgage experience. She previously worked at Preferred Home Mortgage as a loan officer.
Cindy Gustafson has joined Midwest Heritage Bank as chief operating officer. Gustafson is a certified public accountant with more than 20 years of business experience. Previously, she was with Great Western Bank and Principal Financial Group as the controller for the Life Insurance Division and as a strategic development director. She is completing her final year of the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wis.
